Ltd., a Coop member in Delhi, India, has completed a high-stakes Furnace Melting Project involving the movement of specialized EGA machinery and furnace equipment from multiple Indian origins to the Middle East. The project demanded precise coordination, tight deadline management, and expert handling of heavy and irregular cargo. With shipment origins spanning the East Coast, West Coast, and South Coast of India, SI Freight managed a total volume of 2,000 FRT, comprising approximately 30 open-top and flat-rack containers, under Door-to-Port terms.

What made the operation particularly challenging was the combination of extremely tight timelines, last-minute packaging requirements, and the need for flawless container planning. Despite these constraints, the SI Freight team executed the project with accuracy and control across every stage of the logistics chain.

This included factory-to-port trucking across multiple Indian regions, on-site packaging and cargo protection carried out under strict time pressure, and expert CFS handling for heavy and odd-dimension equipment. Additionally, ocean freight coordination was executed on strictly scheduled vessels, requiring close alignment with shipping lines and port authorities to maintain delivery commitments.

Despite the operational complexity, they completed the project with measurable results: on-time delivery at destination, zero cargo damage, and no cost overruns.

Spedition, a Coop member in Delhi, India, has officially changed its name to SI Freight Pvt. Ltd., marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey.

Starting July 1st, all operations will continue seamlessly under the new name SI Freight Pvt. Ltd., while retaining the same trusted team, logo, brand identity, and management under the umbrella of the Spedition Group. This move—from a sole proprietorship to a Private Limited Company—represents a major step forward in terms of operational capacity, legal status, and business potential.
