Neon Freight, a member of The Cooperative Logistics Network in Manchester, UK, has welcomed Henry Chan to its team. In his new role, Henry is gaining hands-on experience across the UK freight forwarding sector, covering ocean, air, and road freight, import and export operations, and customs procedures. He also brings previous experience in global supply chains and control tower operations, giving him a valuable understanding of international logistics and the coordination required to manage complex freight movements.

Having spent much of his career working across Asia and international supply chains, Henry also brings knowledge of China and the Far East, along with relevant language skills. This experience will help Neon Freight strengthen connections between UK businesses and overseas partners, particularly across key Asian markets.

“We’re delighted to welcome Henry to the Neon Freight team. His experience across international supply chains, particularly in China and the Far East, brings a valuable perspective to our business. We’re looking forward to seeing him build on that experience as he develops his knowledge of the UK freight market and helps us strengthen relationships with our overseas partners,” said Ian Mallon, Founder of Neon Freight.

Henry’s return to logistics is also a reminder that professional experience gained along different career paths can bring fresh perspectives to the industry. In his words, “It’s great to be back in the supply chain and logistics industry with Neon Freight. The past month has been a refreshing learning experience, allowing me to get hands-on with UK freight forwarding while drawing on my previous experience across global supply chains. I’m looking forward to continuing to learn, contributing to the team, and using my knowledge of China and the Far East to help strengthen connections with international partners.”
