The Cooperative Logistics Network Partners with Baltic Ports Conference 2026 as Media Patron

The Baltic Ports Conference 2026 convenes from 3 to 4 September in Turku, Finland, bringing together maritime authorities, industry leaders, and policy experts to address the sector’s most pressing operational and strategic challenges

The Cooperative Logistics Network is pleased to announce its partnership with the Baltic Ports Conference 2026 as a Media Patron, taking place from 2 to 4 September 2026 in Turku, Finland. Organised by the Baltic Ports Organization and the Port of Turku, the conference will bring together senior representatives from ports, shipping, logistics, government, technology and maritime organisations to discuss the developments shaping the future of the European maritime sector.

The event will be hosted by the Port of Turku, Finland’s oldest port, which recently marked 870 years of maritime history. With its extensive cargo connections, specialised stevedoring services and warehousing infrastructure, Turku provides a relevant setting for conversations about the evolution of modern port operations.

Navigating green corridors, environmental resilience, and leadership

The opening day of the conference will centre on the operational pressures driving ports toward comprehensive environmental transition. Sessions are set to examine the establishment of green shipping corridors across the Baltic Sea, climate change adaptation strategies, and the integration of biodiversity roadmaps into daily port management. It is a chance to listen to high-level stakeholders from the European Commission, the European Sea Ports Organization, and regional port authorities discuss long-term perspectives and the evolving maritime leadership. Additionally, industrial logistics and specialized warehousing solutions will demonstrate how modern facilities manage cargo handling and supply chain resilience.

Clean Fuels, carbon flows, and digital infrastructure

The second day will shift the participants’ attention toward energy vectors and digital transformation, focusing on the development of Carbon Capture and Storage value chains, wind energy integration, and future bunker fuels. Alongside these energy initiatives, industry presentations and panel discussions will evaluate the mechanics of port digitalization, automated traffic management, and data intelligence systems. As the maritime sector faces critical transformations, this year’s gathering in Turku provides the definitive platform to connect with industry peers, examine cutting-edge port developments, and help shape the future trajectory of Baltic shipping.

The Cooperative Logistics Network encourages its members to join BPC 2026 which offers a chance to look beyond day-to-day freight operations and understand the wider forces transforming the maritime sector. The conference provides an excellent setting to explore how developments in sustainability, technology, infrastructure and alternative fuels could influence future supply chains.
