A Coop member in Odessa, Ukraine, received the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certificate which is globally recognized as the world’s foremost quality management standard.
ISO 9001 is a standard that specifies requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS) and is based on a number of principles including strong customer focus, the motivation, implication of top management, and continual improvement. It allows businesses and organizations to streamline their processes so as to be more efficient at what they do and demonstrates to customers that they can offer products and services of consistently good quality.
“To become ISO 9001 compliant, Alphatrans underwent an evaluation process that included quality management system development, a management system documentation review, audit and initial assessment. The audit was performed by Bureau Veritas Certification- a global leader in testing, inspection/audit, certification, and advisory services,” says Dimitry Balaban, Managing Director of Alphatrans Ltd.
